The price of D-ram took a jump again last weekend.

According to a D-ram trade agency, D-ram Exchange (www.dramexchange.com), following the previous day`s 8.61 percent rise, the price of 128 Mb SD-ram (133 MHz) marked 1.15-1.30 dollars (average 1.21 dollars) in the Asian spot market on 9th, soaring by 18.39 percent. 256 Mb SD-ram (133 MHz) transacted at 2.60-2.90 dollars (average 2.75 dollars) on 9th, up by 3.15 percent from the previous day. And 64 Mb SD-ram (133 MHz) ended in 0.58-0.70 dollars (average 0.58 dollars), skyrocketing by 11.72 percent.

Although the semiconductor market experts have analyzed the cause of sudden rise, they were not able to present the future tendency of the semiconductor price.

Kim Young-Joon, senior researcher of the Kyobo Securities, said, ``As the semiconductor manufacturing companies succeeded to decrease their stocks, the oversupply has been resolved to some degree. The D-ram might recover its price surprisingly earlier than expected, if the market maintained such a rising tendency in low-demand season starting from the beginning of next year.``
