The Representative Council of Education College Students (RCEC, president Kim Gu-Hyun, president of Kwangju University student council) launched the second joint strike following the last week`s strike, opposing the plan of Ministry of Education and Human Resources (MEHR) to assign the middle school teacher candidates to the elementary schools.

The RCEC decided to refuse to take a class until 19th, in a rally announcing the all-out protest to smash the execution of the crippled teacher nurturing policy.

The RCEC said that the in spite of joint strike and protest in Seoul, the Education Ministry did not show any sign of change. And it demanded the government to cease the crippled teacher nurturing policy that ignores the professionalism of the teachers.

The RCEC also decided to pursue the protest returning the student IDs, and the collective refusal of teacher appointment test.
