`A Goddess of Fortune` smiled at Park Chan-Ho (28) and the LA Dodgers after a long while.

In game with the San Francisco Giants at the Dodger Stadium, the Dodgers reversed the flow of the game in the bottom of sixth, led by 0-1.

The Chan-Ho`s best helper in this season, Shawn Green made a signal for the Dodgers` magical victory with the game-tying solo homer. After Sheffield walked, the Dodger hitters collapsed the Giants` mound with the consecutive hits and the charged fielding errors.

Among 7 hits recorded in the sixth inning, 5 ill-hit shots of Lo Duca, Beltre, Kreuter, Reboulet, and Green were ruled as hits. The embarrassed infielders of the Giants, as if doomed in the twilight zone, made two errors, and finally the Giants dedicated 7 runs to the Dodgers in the sixth.

While rounding a batting order, Park also hit a RBI single off the center to contribute on the team`s victory.

The Dodgers finally captured a 9-5 victory. And Park Chan-Ho earned his first win out of five starts in September, pitching 6 and 1/3 innings with 3 strikeouts, 5 hits, and 4 earned runs. It was the first sweet victory in 26 days since the game with Colorado Rockies on 31st last month.

The beginning of the game marked the pitching duel. Park allowed a leadoff home run to Benard to open the game and then kept the Giants quiet since then, and the Giant`s starter Reuter also shut out the Dodger hitters until the fifth inning, even though he tumbled down in the sixth.

Nothing happened in the encounter between Park and Bonds unlike expected. Park grounded out Bonds in the fifth, but he walked off him in the first and the third. Running for the single season home run record, Bonds recorded no hit at three bats. Bonds blasted his 67th with 7 homers in the recent 8 games, 4 home runs behind the single season home run record.

Coupled with the NL West leader Arizona`s loss, the Dodgers has a ray of hope to advance the playoffs, defeating the NL West second place Giants. The Dodgers is 3.5 games behind the Arizona Diamondbacks and 2 games behind the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers left 10 games.

Recording 14 wins and 11 losses with 3.36 ERA, Park will start for his 15th victory in game with the Arizona Diamondbacks at 5: 35am on Oct. 1st at the Bank One ballpark.
