2003` Scholastic Aptitude Test will be held on the 6th of November, a day earlier than this year. 9-grade system in Scholastic Aptitude Test, rolling admission, regular admission would not be changed by next year also. There would be basic standard for special admission for students who reside in foreign country and rural area and fish farm, and independent test held by each college would allow only the essay test, but not the Korean, English, and Mathematics.
According to `2003 basic plan for college entrance` by Ministry of Education and Human Resources, SAT score would be notified on the 2nd of December, a day earlier than 2002.
Rolling admission for the first semester would be held in 5.20~6.20. Rolling admission for second semester would not be allowed from August as some college did this year, but would be allowed only in 9.1~12.5.
Regular admission would have three division of Ka (2002` 12.10~31), Na (2003` 1.2~19), Da (2003` 1.20~2.5), and final notification for admission should be done by 2003` 2.20.
The Ministry ordered to clarify standard such as residence period, student years for special admission to each university in order to prevent any unfair admission. Different from so far, the ministry ordered universities to separate the number of students for main campus and branch campus.
Meanwhile, each university would submit their admission plan to Korean University Education Association by 11.30, and the Association will announce the result in December.
