NK-Russia Summit Will Discuss NK-U.S. Relationship On 4th

Kim Jong-Il, the North Korea’s National Defense Commission Chairman, is expected to have a summit talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin and announce their Joint Declaration on August 4th in Moscow.

A Russian diplomatic source said that ``the Joint Declaration will include the major international issues of the two countries based on the agreement during the visit of Russia President Vladimir Putting in July last year such as the U.S. MD system. He also mentioned that ``the missile development plan of the North may be discussed at the summit talk for the sake of the regional security but basically the issue is between the North and the U.S. Russia welcomed the resumption of the North-U.S. dialogue and is willing to support for the improvement of the North-U.S. relationship.``

Meanwhile, Chairperson Kim Jong-Il who is heading to Moscow by the Trans Siberian Railway stopped by Ulanudae for a hour to enjoy a special performance by a traditional art group.
