Argentine President Asks For Tightening Belt

As the Argentine stock market shows a sign of recovery on 17th, at his Buenos Aires presidential palace, President Fernando de la Rua (seating second from right) is asking 14 opposition party’s governors to cooperate with the government’s belt-tightening policy to escape from the economic crisis.
