Main figure in financial scandal gets heavy sentence

The Seoul District Court Wednesday sentenced Chung Hyun-Jun, 33, president of Korea Digital Line, to 10 years in jail and fined him 1 billion won, finding him guilty of illegally obtaining loans from Dongbang Mutual Savings and Finance, and Lee Kyung-Ja, 57, vice chairwoman of Dongbang, to seven years of imprisonment and a fine of 50 million won.
