Japanese students get true sense of history at Sodaemun Prison

Amid a controversy over a Japanese textbook that is alleged to distort history, Japanese high school students who came to Korea on a ``peace study tour`` take a look Tuesday at cells in the former Sodaemun Prison in Seoul, where Korean opponents of Japan`s 1910-1945 colonial rule were tortured and jailed.
