Lambda spiral structure (A)

Picture (A) is the Lambda spiral structure discovered by a research team led by Prof. Kim Kwang-Su of Pohang University of Science and Technology. Compared to the Alpha spiral structure (B), it is wide and the chain gets snarled in the opposite way.
