Inter-Korean parliamentary confab due in April

National Speaker Lee Man-Sup said Saturday that he is likely to hold talks with his North Korean counterpart in April, on the sidelines of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) general conference to be held in Havana, Cuba. Choi Tae-Bok, speaker of the North Korean Supreme People's Assembly, is expected to attend the conference.

Upon returning from official visits to Chile and Paraguay in the wake of his participation in the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF), Lee also said that he had sought international support for inter-Korean reconciliation and cooperation. He said Pyongyang would be admitted to the APPF, if it so desires.
