Snow-topped Maehwa blossoms

Red blossoms of a 30-year-old Maehwa tree, also known as a Japanese apricot tree, are in full bloom at the home of Yang Chan-Bung in Ara-dong, Cheju City, Tuesday. Heavy snow fell for the third consecutive day on the southern island.
