The Seoul District Prosecutor's Office (SDPO), which is investigating the illegal entrance case of overseas Koreans to universities under the special admission system, confirmed the fact Sunday that a student gained admission to a university by forging a school record and a graduation certificate of a foreign school directly by himself without any help of a domestic broker.
In the meantime, the SDPO subpoenaed the arrested Cho Kun-Hee, director of Korea Kent Foreign School, again Sunday to investigate whether or not of the remarks of a fund manager, just known as a Lee (female in her forties) who said in an interview with the press that Cho received about 2 billion won in return for providing illegal entrance services for 10 students every year since 1993.
