British amb. visits Dong-a Ilbo

British Ambassador Charles Humphrey talks with Oh Myung, president of Dong-a Ilbo, on Monday, as he visits the daily newspaper company to speak about such issues as the recent establishment of diplomatic ties between North Korea and Britain.

The ambassador said a charge d'affairs in charge of North Korea would come to Seoul shortly to prepare for the opening of an embassy in Pyongyang.

President Oh said he welcomed the two countries' decision to set up diplomatic relations and that this also would be helpful in improving relations between South and North Korea.
