Ahn gains confidence playing in Italy

¡°Playing in Italy was a very good opportunity for me,¡± Korea¡¯s top soccer player Ahn Jung-Hwan (24, Perugia), playing in Italy¡¯s first league, said upon his returning home to join the national squad for the regular Korea-Japan soccer match to be held in Tokyo on Dec. 20. ¡°I felt my skills were improving greatly only by seeing the games on the bench.¡±
