Chae Shi-La highest-paid TV-personality

Among domestic TV stars, Chae Shi-La has been revealed as having received the highest fees for TV appearances in the past year.

The National Assembly's Culture and Tourism Commission Chairman Shim Jae-Kwon of the ruling Millennium Democratic Party, through a review of the report submitted by the Korean Actors Labor Union, revealed that from August 1999 to July this year, Chae Shi-La has had the highest earnings.

Chairman Shim further revealed that among those who have appeared on Korean Broadcasting Station programs, the highest appearance fee was 294 million won for an actor or actress, 197 million won for a comedian and 82 million won for singer.

Among the actors and actresses, the top 10 received more than 130 million won for appearing, while the top six comedians garnered more than 100 million won.
