Final bankruptcy of Dong Ah Construction, Daehan Express

Dong Ah Construction and Daehan Express announced their final bankruptcy on Wednesday.

Dong Ah Construction was unable to settle a 31.9 billion won note that matured Tuesday, announcing first bankruptcy and registering its final bankruptcy Wednesday. Hence, Dong Ah Construction automatically loses its status as a workout company.

Daehan Express, which had reported first bankruptcy Tuesday after it failed to meet obligations worth 15.8 billion won, announced its final insolvency on Wednesday. Daehan Express is expected to apply for court protection as early as the 2nd but will continue to make efforts to settle notes that mature.
