While dialogue between the government and the medical profession is making little progress, the Korea Medical Association is planning to stage an all-out campaign against the government toward the end of this month or early next month.

The medical rights protection committee of the KMA reported Sunday that the struggle committee is studying whether to launch an all-out drive with the participation of all levels of clinics and hospitals across the nation, involving first, second and third medical institutions, including medium and small hospitals, in addition to the general hospitals and neighborhood clinics now in partial strikes.

The KMA has decided to map out concrete struggle measures by holding a series of meetings, the central committee of the medical struggle committee Sept. 18, a workshop of medical professors, interns and residents Sept. 19-20, and another workshop of the chairmen and staffs of the KMA mayoral, county and ward branches throughout the country Sept. 23-24.
