donga.com hosts homepage competition awarding ceremony

The donga.com homepage competition award ceremony was held today at the Donga Media Center in Gwanghwamun. The prize winning work for the competition, which was jointly sponsored by the Dong-a Ilbo, Dreamline and Namo Interactive, was announced on August 28 after a selection process that included a 1st round evaluation by specialists and a second round of online voting by netizens.

The winner of the first prize Dream-x award was the duo of Kim Chung-Hwan and Park Kyung-Sook, a married couple who teach Korean in Gwangyang, Jeollanamdo.

The couple remarked that they were overjoyed at their unexpected victory, and said the prize money would be used to purchase a car for Kim`s elder brother, who has never been able to buy one.
