Japanese electronic appliances flood market

With the lifting of restrictions against certain Japanese imports, imports of electronic appliances such as electronic rice cookers and camcorders, have swept the market. Imports of products that were formerly banned soared 83.5% compared with the same period last year, totaling US$ 810.7 million.
