Pres. Kim meets with Nigerian president

President Kim Dae-Jung and Nigerian president Olusegun Obsasanjo held a meeting at Chong Wa Dae today to further develop 20 years of bilateral ties.

The two leaders agreed to expand trade and investment by combining Korea`s capital and technology with Nigeria`s abundant human resources and raw materials.

The two countries also planned to boost exchanges of government officials and to further cooperation in the UN and other international activities, such as the hosting of the 2010 World Exposition Korea.

Pres. Kim called for more interest and assistance for Korean companies active in Nigeria. He also promised to continue to aid the budding Nigerian economy.
