Park Chan-Ho fails to win 10th game

Park Chan-ho, Korean pitcher of the Los Angeles Dodgers, completed his best first half in his Major League career, but failed to win his 10th game.

Park (9-6) allowed three hits, all by Joe Oliver, but one was a two-run homer in the second inning for a crucial 0-2 defeat in the interleague play against Seattle Mariners at Seattle, Sunday.

The 27-year-old Korean pitcher,4-0 previously for the Dodgers in interleague play, went seven innings. He gave up two runs, one earned, with three walks with six strikeouts.He was relieved by Osuna at the bottom of eight inning at 0-2. Mariners¡¯ relief Sasaki of Japan pitched one inning and bagged his 19th save.

Park recorded 4.17 for ERA in the first half.

Park will attempt again for his 10th win in the first interleague game of the second half against Anaheim Angels on July 16.
