Tilting Train Express

Hanbit 200, the Korean tilting train express (TTX), had a trial run from Osong to Ogeunjang station in North Chungcheong Province. When a curve is detected, the trainset tilts the train cars to mitigate centrifugal forces. From 2010, domestic lines will run TTX trains, which were developed by the Ministry of Construction and Transportation after an investment of 48 billion won.
