On December 3 at 3:00 p.m. at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, the 밼inal battle?of this year professional soccer will be held.

The final game between the Suwon Bluewings and the Chunnam Dragons of the 2006 Football Association (FA) Cup, which decides the best team of all professional and amateur teams, is scheduled for this day.

The winner of the cup will be given a ticket to next season Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League.

By objective standards, Suwon is the stronger team, but this season record shows Chunnam ahead with two wins and one tie. Also, the fact that the winner will be decided in only one game makes the results all the more difficult to predict.

The game is drawing more attention due to the fact that the two head coaches of the teams, Cha Beom-geun (53) of Samsung and Huh Jung-moo (51) of Chunnam, are long-time rivals. Rivals as players as well as coaches, the record of the two coaches is even at six wins, seven ties, and six losses.

Coach Cha said, 밫he players were probably mentally wounded when their dream of winning the regular season was shattered. We will win the FA Cup and challenge the AFC Champions League.?

Chunnam aspiration toward the cup is just as strong. Chunnam won the FA Cup in 1997, but its best record since is second place in 2003. Coach Huh said, 밯e didn뭪 get to the finals easily, but we뭠l show you what we뭭e got.?
