Are the Cubs cursed at Wrigley Field this year again?

The Chicago Cubs lost to the Cleveland Indians 2-7 in Game 4 of the Major League Baseball’s World Series 2016 on their home turf at Wrigley Field on Saturday local time. With a 0-1 defeat to the Indians previous day on the same venue, the Cubs are now on the verge of collapse with one win and three losses overall in the series.

Sloppy defense doomed the Cubs. In the top of the second inning with one out and the score tying 1-1, Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant made two errors in throwing the ball and allowed the Indians to upset the score 1-2, and the team failed to reverse the score until the end. Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber gave a run in the bottom of the first inning, but pitched subsequent five innings without giving additional run to become the winning pitcher.

If the Cubs lose Game 5 to be held also at the Wrigley Field on Sunday, it's not possible to confirm‎ whether the team is doomed only at the Wrigley Field or in the entire World Series, because the Indians will conclude the series by winning the title. If the Cubs win in Game 5, he "Curse of the Billy Goat" theory will pass into history.
