Chinese village sealed off by police

Residents in the Chinese fishing village of Wukan in Guangdong province Thursday carry a banner reading, "A democratic appeal can hardly be an illegal rally." Chinese police sealed off the village, but a resident took this picture with his cellphone and sent it to the outside world.
