Lee Chun-soo (26, Feyenoord) is likely to make his debut in the Netherlands in front of a packed house this weekend.

The Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad reported in its Wednesday issue that all 47,000 tickets have been sold for Feyenoord’s sixth round match of the season against SC Heerenveen.

Feyenoord topped the Dutch league with four straight wins and no defeats until it was beaten 4-0 by rival PSV at an away game recently. It ranks third at the moment.

The fans expect to see how the team has changed with Bert van Maarwijk as head coach, newly joined star players, and the unpredictable yet interesting new-face Lee Chun-soo, the newspaper said.

The match against Heerenveen is most likely to be a debut match of Lee Chun-soo, who formally joined Feyenoord on Monday and started practice.

“It has been just two days since he joined the team, but I hope he makes quick adjustments so that his name can be put on the entry list some time this weekend,” said coach van Maarwijk, hinting at Lee’s imminent debut.
