Led by the duo of Charles Minlend and Pervis Pasco, together with Lee Hyun-min, the LG Sakers defeated KT&G, 96-83, at their home stadium in Changwon, solidifying their lead in the KBL standings with eight wins and three losses.
Minlend played superbly, scoring 31 points (three three-point shots) and grabbing eight rebounds, while Pasco, the teams center, dominated the post area with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Lee Hyun-min, a guard, also played an indispensable role with 13 points, four rebounds and five assists in about 20 minutes of play.
The accuracy of LGs three-pointers was the driving force behind their victory. Twelve out of 32 three-point attempts were successful.
Although KT&G fought back on Dontae Jones 24 points and six rebounds, they were unable to break through the defense of Minlend and Pasco.
KT&G failed to extend its winning streak from five to six with the loss.
