Rumsfeld in Alaska

Donald Runsfeld, the U.S. defense secretary, waves his hands at the press as he heads for Port Wainwright, Fairbanks, Alaska on August 26 (local time). In the middle of this month he sent a letter to Yoon Kwang-ung, Korea’s defense minister, with a message that the U.S was willing to return wartime operational control to Korea by 2009.
