506 voting booths nationwide, including Dokdo started enlisting absentee votes on May 25 in preparation for the May•31 local elections. Held until May 26, the voters casting their absentee votes will amount to 893,291 people, 2.4 percent of the total number of 37,064,282 voters. Including Park Ji-sung among others, the Taeguk Warriors, the national football team that is about to enter the World Cup games in Germany cast their absentee votes at the Seoul World Cup Stadium located at Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
