Japanese Patrol

Members of Dokdo Headquarters, a civic group, saw a patrol boat from the Japan Coast Guard near the Korean exclusive economic zone between Dokdo and Ulleungdo on Saturday. The Korean Coast Guard said that a 195-ton Japanese patrol boat entered neutral waters 20km southwest of Dokdo at around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, passed along the EEZ, then went into the high seas to the east at around 1:30 p.m. However, Dokdo Headquarters members who were nearby said the patrol boat crossed the waters 9km southwest of Dokdo.
