On October 29, Palestinian President Yasser Arafat left Palestinian Authority headquarters in Ramallah, on the West Bank of Jordan River to receive medical treatment in Paris. Before the departure, Arafat is receiving bows from his supporters while he was placed aboard the helicopter in his West Bank compound.
