[Opinion] Refilling

When refilling a fish tank, it is good sense not to do it all at once. That’s because water containing some bacteria makes a fish comfortable. Also, tap water should be used after letting it sit a day in order to allow the disinfectant to dissipate. When refilling a humidifier, on the other hand, make sure you clean the water reservoir well, including its insides. If you don’t, the humidifier will release impure humidity even if it is filled with fresh water. Sometimes we get a stomachache when we travel due to a new type of water. This occurs because of a lack of adaptation. Natives are not affected by local water because they have antibodies in their body to cope with their water. The body and water are not two, but one.

- Refilling is important in managing an organization. The existing staff is important in respect to consistency of work, and new staff is important in respect to vitality of organization. The efficiency of an organization is determined by an appropriate combination of the two. The replacement of a player is very important strategy in team play. We know an example in which a player, who was saving his power on the bench for an emergency, saved the team by joining at the right time. So too in war: If we miscalculated size or time for support, we could be defeated in a battle or war.

- During the period of the general election, “refilling” often appeared in the discussion. Consider “Mulgari”, the association for refilling the National Assembly in the general election, and the “Mulgari Song,” which was made by changing the words of “Onara,” the drama music of Daejangkum. Whether it was because of the “Mulgari Song” saying: “Replace Replace Replace everyone. Replace every corrupt politician. Let’s replace incompetent politicians” or not, 187 of 299 elected lawmakers were first-time electees. Moreover, a newly emerging political party gained its majority. We can see that the last election was a “refilling.”

- We can read voters’ minds in that the proportion indicating that the ratio of fresh water is much higher than the ratio of existing water. This proportion can dilute the dirtiest water by 2:1. Considering that they left a third of the existing water, however, it seems that they were concerned about the people’s confusion over a drastically changed situation. It is in the mind of people where decisiveness and scruples exquisitely mix. The problem is the quality of fresh water. Although it is surely new, nobody knows whether it is safe to drink or not. Piles of pending questions, from the dispatch of troops in Iraq to the completion of the impeachment, would like to give us an answer.
