The Police made Arrangements for the search for the 46 heads of Hangchongryon.

On October 1, the police made arrangements for the search for an identified criminal for the 36 heads of Hanchongryon(Korean Student Union) who departed last May or issued summons to them.

On the same day, a senior official of the judicial authority said, “After reviewing the general principles and pamphlets of the representatives’ conference of the 11th Hanchongryon, we have not found any significant differences from previous members.” He also said, “They violated the law and thus, judicial treatment is inevitable.”

Along with this, the police issued warrants of arrest and made arrangements for the search for an identified criminal for Chung Chaeuk (23, president of student union at Yonsei University), the president of regional union, the leader of special organization, and the interrupters of 518 ceremonies and intruders of the U.S. Army shooting field on September 30.

The police explained that they had required them to report at a police office, but all of them disobeyed.

The police will also issue summons to the 24 suspects of sudden attack to the office of Grand National Party. If it is disobeyed, they will arrange warrants of arrest for them. The police authority said, “Only serious suspects would be the object of the judicial treatment. It is different from past when all of the representatives were summoned or arranged.”

On October 1, an official of the Ministry of Justice said, “They will be considered as an enemy of the nation under the National Security Law. The law will be applied strictly to them.”
