“Benefit of Discount For Massive Mobile Use”

If it is early, discount system that gives preference to the user, who uses phone massively will be introduced from January next year. However, corporations discount system for mobile registration is likely to be withdrawn. And luxury membership system like plastic surgery, among membership system of mobile firms will be minimized.

One concerned in Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) stated on 3rd, “Revision related to improvement of membership system and withdrawal of corporation discount system regarding mobiles will be brought up with the Communication committee and will come into effect from January next year, if early.”

In case of corporations, 20~40% discount system was applied following the number of registration. One concerned in MIC explained, “We will withdraw corporate discount system in mobiles as it is discrimination between corporation and personal users, but we prepared solution to give discount benefit to massive users regardless of corporation or individual.”

MIC plans to instruct withdrawal of some luxurious membership system such as plastic surgery, golf, hairdresser shop related to membership system, which currently mobile firms are widely using as one of marketing ways. It also plans to instruct to write membership agreement, as they have been using it without certain rule or agreement. Therefore, preference of existing members who are registered in some membership system will somehow be reduced.
