New amino acid was found that current biology textbook should be rewritten.

Dr. Joseph Krisky from Ohio State University, America announced the result of his research in the latest science magazine Science that he found a new amino acid living in the stomach of a cow, and it is 22nd amino acid that differs from the 21 amino acids known so far.

Dr. Krisky found that a gene of bacteria doesn’t complete the synthesis of amino acid at final codon. Presuming that the function of this codon is different from existing ending signals, the research team disclosed that quite new type of amino acid is synthesized here. They named this amino acid `Pyrrolysin`.

Academic adviser Dr. Michael Chan said, “this discovery is like that of new element by chemist, new particle by physicist. The 23rd and 24th amino acid would be found soon.”
