The government and opposition parties revealed different opinions on North Korean policies, political reform, and economic policies through delegate speeches in the Assembly’s negotiation body on the 9th.
Grand National Party (GNP)’s acting-president Park Kwan-Yong said, “In the case of our party’s leader, he is suffering from wiretapping and account-tracking, and besides, his family and relatives are being carefully watched,” to accuse inspection over former President Lee Hoi-Chang.
He also insisted, “There is a `triangular conspiracy` going on, including conspiracy over political reform and term-extension before the two major elections, political advantage over North Korean issues, and economic manipulation by electoral logicality. The President must pull back his `invisible hand` immediately.”
He emphasized, “With the citizens, we will fight against the conspiracy of political reform that tries to breakup the opposition before the election.”
Also, he urged on Δ securing fairness in Media Δ reconsideration on the aid business of North Korea Δ reexamination over the economy-supporting measures being deliberately aware of the election.
Meanwhile, Millennium Democratic Party’s standing advisor Jung Dae-Chul stressed on the importance of political reform by saying, “Both the government and opposition should be reborn from regional parties into nationwide people’s parties, and the party structures, which built on political groups, must be reformed too.”
In relation to former party-president Lee’s `left-wing utterance`, he suggested mutual cooperation over North Korean issues saying, “GNP should throw away its old cold war attitude. One-sided mind has no positive effect any more.”
The government and opposition had one voice in introduction of public management for election, demolition of corruption, political reform by advancing politics.
