Oh Yeon-Su appears on TV after one and half years

``As I gave birth to a baby, I was losing my desire to star in a drama, although I had used to want to play title role of unmarried woman in miniseries. But now what I think of only is how to show a good performance,`` TV actress Oh Yeon-Su, 30, said upon being cast for a TV daily serial drama.

She has been cast for the title role of MBC TV`s drama, ``The Laws of Marriage,`` to start from Apr. 23 at 8:20 p.m. She is to appear on TV after a one-and-half-year absence.

She had restrained herself from appearing on TV, except for commercials, in order to take care of her baby. Since her baby still needed her care, she wanted to suspend her activity more for the time being. But she was persuaded by director Chang Su-Bong to take the title role.

In the drama, Oh plays ``Koh Kum-Sae,`` a divorced woman in her 30s. She divorced her husband ``Hwang Bok-Su`` starred by Sohn Hyun-Ju due to difference in character and is agonizing over the issue of reuniting him.
