P`yang blasts Korea-U.S. joint military drill

North Korea, disclosing that the South Korea and United States were conducting a joint military exercise, Rapid Thunder, on Thursday, lambasted the U.S. without mentioning the South. The Chosun Central Broadcasting Station accused the U.S. of being engaged in hostile maneuvering like the military drill in preparation for its aggression into the North and is building obstacles to peace and peaceful unification of Korea.

In a separate broadcast, the Pyongyang radio claimed that the U.S. Embassy in Seoul had installed 10 highly efficient cameras around the embassy building and was monitoring the passers-by around it, as anti-American sentiment was heightened among the citizens.
