U.S. congressional delegation calls on President Kim

President Kim Dae-Jung received a group of 10 members of the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives, including house Democratic leader Richard Gephart, at Cheong Wa Dae Friday. During the meeting, President Kim stressed the need for the continued development of the Korea-U.S. partnership, timed with the inauguration of a new administration, and the maintenance of close cooperation between the two countries for peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in the Northeast Asian region.
