President, ULD head hold talks Monday

President Kim Dae-Jung, also head of the Millennium Democratic Party (MDP), and Kim Jong-Pil, honorary president of the United Liberal Democrats (ULD), together with their wives will hold a dinner meeting at Cheong Wha Dae on Monday, where inter-party cooperation will be officially restored.

After the meeting, an agreement is to be announced on the restoration of the cooperative ties and details of joint efforts to overcome the present national crisis.

This is the first meeting between the President and the ULD head since the South-North summit meeting briefing held last June 20. At the Monday meeting, discussions will be held on reviving the two-party coalition and the appointment of ULD members to the cabinet.
