Ballerina wins Ilmin Art Award

The Ilmin Culture Foundation and Dong-A Ilbo have chosen ballerina Kim Hye-Shik as the winner of the fifth Ilmin Arts Award of 2000.

The Ilmin Art Award was established in 1995 to cherish the memory of the late Kim Sang-Man, who contributed to the development of Korean journalism, education, culture and arts throughout his life.

Ilmin is the pen name of the late Kim. One artistic person who contributed greatly to the artistic creation is given the award every year.
