Dedication of CD-ROM of Tripitaka Koreana

Buddhist monks of the Research Institute of Tripitaka Koreana, move the CD-ROMs of the text, carved on 81,258 wood blocks in the Buddhist sanctum, after a ceremony to dedicate the computerized version of the collection of Buddhist texts stored in Haein Temple, at the Fencing Gym in the Seoul Olympic Park on Wednesday. Among the participants in the ceremony were Culture-Tourism Minister Kim Han-Gill and Rev. Suh Jung-Dae, chief executive of the nation's largest Buddhist order, Chogye-jong.
