Secretary's brooch

U.S. Secretary of State was wearing a brooch patterned after the Star-Spangled Banner when she was about to start negotiations with North Korean officials Monday. As the secretary of state, she apparently meant to show her commitment to the basic and established position of Washington in dealing with North Korea. Albright has usually had a symbolically charged brooch on her whenever she embarked on a bargaining venture overseas.
