People's Daily staff visit Dong-a Ilbo

A four-member delegation from China's People's Daily, led by Cui Yunxi, a vice president and editing committee member, arrived in Seoul on Wednesday to see the journalistic and economic circles here at the invitation of Dong-a Ilbo.

They visited Dong-a Ilbo and donga.com, and exchanged views with president Oh Myung on ways of increasing cooperation between the two newspaper companies and matters of mutual concerns between their countries.

"I hope that the friendly relationship between the two newspaper companies will be further solidified, contributing to strengthening the cooperative between the two countries," Oh said.

Cui said that the two newspaper companies with the biggest influential power in their nations would make concrete their friendly ties matching with the new era through sustained exchanges of reporters and holding seminars.
