Foreigners own 0.2 percent or 21.25 million square meters of Kyonggi Province land, the provincial government reported Monday.
That foreign-held 21.25 million square meters of land break down to 15.74 million square meters of forest and field, 4.56 million square meters of lots for industrial use, 573,000 square meters of land for commercial use and 375,000 square meters of land for residential use.
By nationality, Americans own the largest amount at 14.621 million square meters, followed by Europeans` 2.99 million square meters, Japanese 1.29 million square meters, Asians` (except for Japanese) 965,000 square meters and all others` 1.37 million square meters.
