Another South Korean found dead in the Philippines

A South Korean man was shot by an unidentified assailant while driving and was dead while being treated at a local hospital in Baguio on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry said the same day. Baguio is located 200 kilometers north of the capital city of Manila and has a population of 300,000. Many Koreans visit the city for cooler climate provided by its high altitude than Manila.

The victim was living in Baguio with his family. According to the witness, two to three unidentified assailants ran away after shooting, making it difficult to exclude the possibility that the men targeted the victim in advance.
