3 teens in Busan found dead after jumping from building

Three teenage girls were found Tuesday evening to have jumped to their deaths in Busan.

At around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, the three were found dead in a pool of blood on the top of a commercial building in Busan. They had been reportedly drinking alcohol on the top of a 15-story apartment building behind the commercial one at around 8 p.m. before a security guard told them to leave.

The girls, however, are said to have returned to the roof at around 7:30 p.m. Three empty bottles of the Korean liquor soju were found there but no suicide letter.

Police say that one of the girls lived in Busan, while another was from Daejeon and the third from Gwangju. The family of the girl from Daejeon reported to the police that she ran away from home Saturday.
