The Korean financial market found itself in turmoil once again yesterday as the won closed at 1,269.8 to the dollar, the weakest in six years and five months. The Jongno, Seoul, branch of a bank posted a sign next to its entrance offering a dramatic discount on currency exchange commissions for its customers.
