Amid rampant postings inciting illegal and violent demonstrations on Daum`s online debate bulletin “Agora,” even a writing that introduces a detailed “tactic to advance towards the presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae” with drawings was posted.

The posting entitled “We can easily go to Cheong Wa Dae” written by an Internet user with the user name of “Rwabayeo,” described a variety of tactics reminiscent of military operations showing two maps of expected places of clash between protestors and police and the route to be used for advancing to the presidential office.

The posting proposed, “As it is difficult to enter the presidential office without having the headquarters (demonstrators around the Seoul City Hall and Sejongno) join, some of the Agora members should maintain the restriction line by sticking around the Gyeongbok Palace subway station, while the others attack the riot police in the rear around the Gwanghwamun subway station.” A series of “military operations” similar to this were posted along with a couple of operation maps.

The same user posted another writing entitled “The way to easily go to Cheong Wa Dae (the second operation)” said, “You can freely move between Sejongno and Gyeongbok Palace. Let’s claim the right to pass the street by disguising ourselves as ordinary citizens who are not participating in the candlelight vigils.”

The third posting on the same day was put up under the title of "The third plan to go to Cheong Wa Dae.” It said, “We can confuse riot police by moving around in three or four groups.”

Some Internet users criticized the postings, saying that the demonstration is not a war game. However, many of the users supported the idea, praising the author as a great war strategist and proposing that the Agora members should deal with the B zone (around Gyeongbok Palace on the posted map) and the members of the online community “Anti-Lee Myung-bak” should be responsible for the C zone (around the Kumho building).

On what is happening on Agora, experts said, “Web portals are effectively encouraging illegal and violent actions by neglecting postings that promote illegal actions.”
