First Hydrogen Battery-Powered Aircraft

U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing conducts on Thursday a test flight of its world’s first aircraft using only a hydrogen battery for power in the air at the Boeing Research Center at Ocaña, Spain. The aircraft, which is capable of carrying two passengers, weighs 800 kilograms and has a body length of 6.3 meters and a wingspan of 16.3 meters. It flew at 100 kilometers per hour for 20 minutes at the altitude of 1,000 meters. The small picture shows the hydrogen battery installed in the airplane.
